South African DJ Black Coffee, has dispelled ongoing-rumor he is collaborating with Beyonce on a new song.
On Friday, September 2, urban music station, Trace, tweeted that the stars were “working on music together”. The tweet read, “#TRACEUrban hears @RealBlackCoffee and @Beyonce are working on music together ? How LIT would that project be?!.”
It would be ‘LIT’ if both stars were really working on a feature, but they aren’t, because the South African multiple-award winning record-producer responded with a tweet, Monday, September 12, which read, “@TRACE_Inter @Beyonce we are?? that would be a dream.”
Black Coffee won the Best International Act Award (Africa) at this year’s BET Awards held on June 26, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Black Coffee Scored A Major International Collaboration
In July, the popular DJ scored a major collaboration with Alicia Keys on a remix of her song ‘In Common’ produced by Swizz Beats.
According to drum.co.za, lately, there have been speculations Beyonce will be coming to South Africa in November, and that’d be an avenue to release their ‘new song’.
While Queen Bey’s visit to South Africa is still unconfirmed, what is ‘confirmed’ is there will be no musical project between herself and Black Coffee.
