Nigerian popstar, Davido, has taken to Instagram and Twitter to show off pictures of the ongoing construction of a building for a primary school boy known as Utibe, who went viral for singing ‘IF’, a hit song by Davido..
This comes barely two weeks after promising to sponsor Utibe’s education..
In case you missed it, the singer was tagged to a video of uploaded by an Instagram user with the username ‘Sham Rock’ of the little boy singing his hot single, IF.
Moved by the performance, the singer had asked fans to help him locate Utibe. When he was found, Davido made a public declaration, promising to fund the boy’s education for life.
Now, Afro pop star has announced that he is building a new house for the boy.
Davido, who promised to visit Utibe and his mother when he returns to Nigeria, wrote;
“Utibe loving the new house I’m having being built for him and his mother!! Can’t wait to visit when I’m back home!! OBO GOT U FOR LIFE,”
