Mel B‘s life with ex, Stephen Belafonte is steadily turning into a nightmare.
As you surely know, there has been quite a bit of drama surrounding the former Spice Girl’s divorce from the film producer.
Not only has Stephen had a recent run in with the law over allegedly possessing illegal firearms, but his estranged wife has since taken out a restraining order against him.

And according to TMZ, Mel B was granted a restraining order on Monday after she accused her husband Stephen of being both emotionally and physically abusive towards her.
Not to mention, the British singer alleges that her ex extorted her into doing three ways by threatening to release sex tapes.
To make matters worse, the A-lister claims she and her children currently fear for their lives. How awful!
In the Mel’s declaration, she accused Stephen of placing his hands around her neck, choking her, and slamming her down on some hardwood floors while she was getting ready for the Dancing With The Stars finale in November 2007.
Sadly, this wasn’t an abnormality in their home as Stephen would supposedly ‘beat [Mel B] down to let [her] know he was in charge.’

Another violent incident supposedly took place in July 2012 during a taping of the X Factor. Stephen allegedly flew into a jealous rage over a segment his wife was filming with Usher. It was reported that he punched Mel in the face with a closed fist and, in result, split open her lip.
When the beloved singer asked how she was going to explain the injury at work, the father of her kids apparently snapped back that she should have thought of that before deciding to ‘flirt with and fuck Usher.’
As for those open relationship rumours, the songwriter states her estranged love forced her to ‘participate in sexual intercourse with him and random women’ and that he would secretly film the encounters and use them as blackmail if she ever tried to resist having a three way.
In the legal document, Mel explained, ‘[Stephen] threatened me with violence and threatened to destroy my life in every possible way … destroy my career and take my kids from me.’
Stephen meanwhile has denied the allegations as he told the paparazzi:
‘So… I force her to have threesomes? Okay. You know what my comment to this is, actually, that is the mother of my children – I’m really, really distraught in my brain how this is gonna effect our children…That’s it. I mean, I really… I’m shocked at those allegations.’
Ummm, that’s not really a straightforward denial. He added, ‘I think someone’s trying to set me up to look like a bad guy.’
Guess we’ll have to see how this plays in the end.
