A while back, rapper Sarkodie took to Twitter to ask for a cast to feature in his music video. He also added that it wasn’t a paid gig but the selected people were going to get “free exposure” as a result of working with him.
Fans came after him calling him stingy for not willing to pay for a cast.
Shatta Wale also added fire to the fuel when he asserted a while back that Sarkodie was poor and challenged him to show off his wealth.
The rapper in a recent interview on Hitz FM, has however cleared the air stating that he is not willing to please people on social media. H e also added that people calling him stingy is their perception.
“That whole stingy whatever it’s just social media … I can’t feel well trying to please people, you know, so I’m not going to be on social media trying to act like I am not stingy, that’s your perception of what you have about me, I know myself so that’s not a big deal” the rapper said.
