Sasa Clothing is an emerging fashion house in the Volta region that seeks to take advantage of growing opportunities in the African clothing and garments industry and to empower, educate, and inspire youth by providing platforms that would make them more productive and useful to the development of Ghana.

The clothing line produces casual and formal wear; specializing in African Print Clothing, accessories and African craft. Sasa is a term among the Ewes which refers to garments produced by sampling different fabric prints.

Sasa Clothing is located in Ho, Volta Region of Ghana along the Maryland Road in Ho Polytechnic. We have a large hall as our production room and an office space which our showroom. It currently have a staff strength of 20 including marketers, designers and models.

The problem of unemployment in Ghana among graduates has reached a breaking point. The various universities, both public and private as well as the 10 polytechnics, churn out thousands of graduates who are unable to find job placements. By the time these graduates come out, they find to their deepest frustration that the job market is choked. Even graduates from technical and vocational institutions who are equipped with employable skills are not being spared.

These have left majority of youth roaming on the streets in fruitless search of non-existing jobs. Informed by this alarming situation, King Nobert Akpablie a journalist and a fashion enthusiast mooted the idea of establishing a fashion home that would equip the youth with necessary skills and provide them with jobs to contribute the economy. In partnership with two fashion graduates from Ho Polytechnic; Amos Wilson Agblemor and Promise Agbesi, the trio established Sasa Clothing in April 2016.

King Nobert Akpablie comments: ” Our vision is to establish a clothing line whose brand will not only be accepted in the Ghana, but also in other parts of the world.Our mission is to establish a clothing line that will make available a wide range of clothes for male, female, young adults and children; a clothing label that will favorably with international clothing labels.”
