The Grand Finale of the 3FM Fat2fit season 6 came off this weekend at the aviation social centre. Participants went through their final stretches and aerobics with B the bully before the the actual ceremony took off.
This wraps up a 60-day weight loss challenge which span for 2 months. Participants, sponsors, supporters and families were awarded for their consistency and support to people involved. Akoto Degross took the opportunity to honour and celebrate participants for staying determined through the period and thanked sponsors,participates 3FM and TV3 for its continuous support.
On the part of Media General, Mr Francis. Doku, MD for Digital at Media General indicated how grateful they were as a media house and also stated how MG is appreciative of Akoto Degross for the idea and the bully for spreading healthy living habits nationwide.
The rep for the deputy minister of health Hon. Tina Mensah in the person of Mr. Mike Obuor expressed their ministry’s keen interest in this challenge and the heath education this initiative has ,Certificates were given to the most punctual participant,hardworking participant,most interactive participant,most disciplined and husbands of two husbands of the participants were awarded as well as most supportive husbands as well.8 of the biggest weight loosers were awarded as well .
Losing 13.2 kg Eunice Bodoe came third. She took home a Blender from Africart -Souvenirs from Verna,Top Creativity and CPMR
Coming second place, Elizabeth Braimah lost 15.6kg she took home a Washing machine from Africart, Souvenirs from Verna,Top Creativity and CPMR.
The ultimate winner after the 60 days weight loss challenge started from 90.8kg and dropped to 74.4kg and took home a freezer and a Juicer from Africart, hamper of fruits for 6 months fruity masters, Months wardrobe change from Ekay fashions, Souvenirs from Verna, Top Creativity and CPMR. She lost a whooping 16.4kg, Sarah K. Yeboah who lives in Nkawkaw came first.
