Hundreds of thousands of music fans choked the streets of the Achimota Market on Sunday, June 23, 2019 after the event was postponed due to a downpour on Saturday, June 22, 2019, as the multi-talented musician Rootikal Swagger together with some top Ghanaian music artistes thrilled them all night with music at the Achimota Sallah Fest.

The full night carnival dubbed, “Achimota Sallah Fest”, was the maiden edition, brought together hundreds of thousands entertainment fans and Sallah celebrants as great music personalities took turns on stage hit after hit.

Among the artistes who climbed the stage to thrill fans were Tinny, Ras Kuuku, Obibini, Epixode, Lord Paper, Atom, Tsikago, ImRana, Kojo Luda, Paa Dogo, Kojo Gilchris, CT Baby, Arigenal, Real Bini, Buzy Bwoy, SID, Olas and many more.


The 2019 Achimota Sallah Fest was organized Sariki Abdul Rashid Domo and Hon. Kwesi Ababio Gyebi in collaboration with 3Tymz Vibration Recordz to climax the Eid-Mubarak celebrations after thirty days of Muslim fasting, also believe that the people of Achimota contributed immensely towards their success and that there is the need for them to also come out with events such as Sallah Fest as a means of giving back to the community and was themed “…bringing neighbors into dialogue, and increase creativity, offer opportunities for civic pride and improve our general psychological well-being through music”.
