One of the major headaches of most Ghanaian musicians is breaking through the African Market and subsequently the World Market.
The likes of Sarkodie, Stonebwoy are putting in more work to see this dream a reality. But the fact still remains that, more work needs to be done so we can have more acts rubbing shoulders with the likes of our Nigerian and Tanzanian colleagues. The multimillion question is; what will it take for Ghana to produce more international musicians?
Mojo Morgan, one part of the group Morgan Heritage a group that has toured so many countries believe that Ghanaian artistes should take a page out of the books of other African Artistes.
In an interview with Chelsy Sey on Takoradi based Y 97.9FM, Mojo hinted that Ghanaian artistes should take note from successful artistes.
‘I think they (Ghanaian artistes) should pay attention to what Sarkodie, Shatta Wale & our little brother Stonebwoy are doing. They are looking at what other artistes in Africa are doing and they are taking notes and trying their best to execute their marketing plans in the same manner and being creative at the same time. They are not just following but leading. Other Ghanaian acts should follow these 3 strong acts.’
Morgan Heritage is currently promoting their new single; ‘Pay attention’ which features Nigerian Reggae/Dancehall act Patoranking.
Pay Attention is the second single off their upcoming 2019 album.
