Official launch of the project is slated for Friday, November 9, 2018 at the plush Holiday Inn Hotel, Airport Area, Accra.

The official launch is expected to pull high ranking officials from Government and other high profile agencies and individuals like Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee, Dr. Oheneyere Gifty Anti, some key Members of Parliament, The National Chief Iman, The Christian council, just to name a few.

Personnel from the Ministry of Tourism & Creative Arts, Regional Department of Children under the Ministry of Gender Children & Social Protection, Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, National House of Chiefs, Ghana Association of Visual Arts, Civil Society Organizations, the Media and the General Public to ensure the successful roll out of the various programs and activities to be carried out under the project.

Renel Ghana Foundation, the brain company, an NGO behind the project, with other partners have designed a three (3) year Work plan to help achieve these objectives within the 10 Regions of Ghana. We are in the process of getting international partners and already in partnership with more national stakeholders jumping no board.

The Campaign, Art Exhibition and Documentary will be launched at 10:00am on Friday 9th of November, 2018 at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Accra Airport. The goal of the initiative is to help eliminate Early or Forced Marriage and provide needed resources for the education of the Girl Child in Ghana by 2030 in line with UN Sustainable Development Goal 5 target 3. Key focus on the project is using documentaries of real life circumstances to create awareness on causes and implications of Early Child Marriage, empower Girls with information skills and support networks, and as well educate and rally Parents and Community members to championing the cause.

Apart from providing Economic supports and incentives to Girls and their Families, Renel Ghana Foundation wants to use the initiative to enhance Girls access to a quality education. Some notable politicians, clergy, celebrities who have endorsed the project are captured in the images (below).
