As part of plans to reposition the station to champion ethical and professionalism journalism in Ghana and Africa, TV Africa has been rebranded and re-launched.
Founded 13 years ago by Legendary Ghanaian Movie Producer, Kwaw Ansah, the new TV Africa guided by assertiveness, amiability, adeptness and affability, according President of Groupe Ideal and Board Chair of the station, Nii Kotei Dzani will move to a level that will inspire pride in all Ghanaians.
Dr Dzani said under his watch, the new TV Africa will become comparable to CNN and BBC in terms of reach and quality of journalism.
“TV Africa has been redesigned to suit and champion ethical and professionalism journalism in Ghana and Africa. It is also our vision to move TV Africa to a level that will inspire pride in all Ghanaians and to ensure that TV Africa becomes comparable to CNN and BBC in terms of reach and quality journalism.” Mr. Kotei Dzani said.
Mr Kwaw Ansah in his official address said the new TV Africa will be one to rely on for all information and well packaged educative programmes and news.
Mr Kojo Frimpong, Chief Operating Officer of the new TV Africa urged the business community to have confidence in the station and do business with it, since, according to him, it will offer them value for their money.
The ceremony which took place at the plush Gold Coast City Kempinski Hotel last Friday was was chaired by the Ga Manste, Nii Tackie of the Ga traditional council and Nene Abram Kabu Akuaku III, Paramount Chief of Ada and President of the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs was the Quest Speaker.
