Okete, Ghanaian versatile rapper born Okete Boamah David in an exclusive interview with Andy Dosty spoke positively about the Ghanaian rap.
According to Andy Dosty, in our part of the world, rap doesn’t pay.
Okete coming through with his mindset about the Ghanaian rap revealed rap in Ghana pays.
He then went on revealing strick rap is all about how you do and how sensitive your lyrics are to your fans and Ghanaians.
He said; Those who rap, I’m not saying they won’t blow, but it’s how you package it. How sensitive your rap is. If you put work in your rap it will be positive for the fans and keep you on your feet”.
He then went on saying; “if you are a rapper, you will need someone who can sing to help make your song relatable to the fans”.
