Radio queen Adelle Onyango honors late mother by unveiling fashion collection

23 February, 2018. Nairobi: To honour her late mother, Mary Anyango, Kenya’s radio queen Adelle Onyango worked with three creatives to come up with the Anyango Capsule Collection.

“I took some of her characteristics that I aspire to and together with super talented creatives, brought those characteristics to life! So I teamed up with Pauline Cosmetics for the limitless lipstick, Nairobi Apparel District for the jacket and powerful women badges and Olive-And-Annie for the strength necklace.”

The jacket carries the powerful characteristics.

“I want you to feel POWERFUL when you wear this jacket; when you’re going through something tough – I want it to serve as a reminder for you,” Adelle said.

Meanwhile, she recently unveiled the jewelry line ‘Strength’ that sold out on the week of it’s launch.

Adelle assures her fans that they can still order for the necklace because more will be availed for purchase on her website, www.adelleonyango.com.

The last piece was unveiled this week. A lipstick line branded ‘Limitless’.

To go with it is a photo shoot that showcases those attributes.

Adelle added, “It’s to honour the most important person in my life who I’ve always wanted to immortalize and share with the world in my way – my late mum! Because I’m finally strong enough to. I’ve wanted to do it for two years!”
