Quata’s latest album, ‘Quantum Riddim,’ is being considered for 2018 Grammy Awards, Citi Showbiz has learnt.
The consideration of the album for the Reggae Album Category of the year is the first step of attaining a nomination in the Grammy Awards.

The second step is for the Academy to vote and narrow down the list to a nomination list. After that, the Academy members vote for award recipients.
Quata Budukusu is the first Ghanaian rapper to be signed to VPAL Music, a label which has most of its artists winning the Reggae Category at the Grammys over the years.
Quata has positioned himself as one of the biggest versatile musicians in Africa and the rest of the world. He is an accomplished songwriter and a versatile artiste who does every genre of music perfectly.
He recently broke a world record with a 13-track album called ‘Quantum Riddim,’ featured on a single ‘riddim.’
Born Jacob Etroo, Quata has songs like ‘Wind and Go Low,’ ‘U too Bad,’ ‘Pum Pum Shots’ and ‘Low IQ.’
