John Dumelo has allegedly been busted for being in custody of two cars reportedly belonging to the Government of Ghana.

According to Adom Online, the popular actor, who was an active supporter of former President, John Mahama, was allegedly found out by the National Security, following a tip-off. The actor allegedly had sent one of the vehicles, a black Land Cruiser with registration GE 8118-16 to a mechanic workshop for spraying.

When security operatives invited him to the garage to explain how he got the vehicle, Dumelo allegedly said he bought the V8 from a car dealer – Svani Company Limited, and that he was yet to complete payment for the car. However, the vehicle’s chassis number was cued into the centralised computer system, and it revealed that the car was actually registered in the name of the National Security Secretariat.

Adom Online adds that Dumelo quickly changed his story upon seeing the trouble he was delving in, and it was then he said he was gifted V8 by the former first lady, Lordina Mahama Mahama. And when the security operatives made to reconfirm that claim, he begged them to take the car away.

Also, a second car was traced to the actor’s custody, another V8 – ash in colour, which allegedly was being used by the actor’s girlfriend.

Asked where the V8 was, the actor allegedly begged to be allowed to travel for a event in London, that upon his return, he would retrieve it from his partner who, was said to had traveled with the vehicle at the time.

The media house adds that the second V8 was yet to be returned as at press time.

When pressmen reached him for comments yesterday, John Dumelo reportedly said;

“I wouldn’t like to comment about it,”
