Policemen attached to Davido arrested for firing gunshots out of his car after he returned to Lagos

Barely 2 days after the awkward video of mobile policemen attached to singer Davido, firing salute gunshots out of his car as he returned to Lagos surfaced, they have been arrested..

The Public Relations Office of the Nigerian Police has revealed that two mobile policemen attached to musician Davido have been arrested.

The Police administration took the step after Davido’s lackeys posted videos of his return to Lagos to social media sites. See our coverage on what led to the incident here.

The police rang out more than 21 gunshots in a reckless display of callousness and flagrant abuse of power. The shots were issued from AK-47 assault rifles in a moving vehicle in busy Lagos traffic enroute Lekki from Murtala Muhammad International Airport.
