Police Constable Detained and Interdicted for Pouring Hot Water on Colleague

The Ghana Police Service has taken action against Police Constable Alonsi Elizabeth after she allegedly poured hot water on a female colleague following a dispute.

The incident, which resulted in injuries to the victim’s face and back, has led to Constable Elizabeth’s detention and interdiction.

According to a police statement sighted by Ameyaw Debrah Media, the suspect will undergo both internal disciplinary proceedings and legal action in court. Authorities have assured that due process will be followed to address the matter.

Meanwhile, the injured officer is reported to be in stable condition and is receiving medical care and support.
