Promising Ghanaian Rapper and lyricist Phrame, born Benjamin Arkoful, has dropped his much-anticipated album dubbed ‘Brenya’.
‘Brenya’ has 13 songs with an Intro and Skit making it 15 on the list. It features Fimfim, Nuel Triumph, Sena Huks, Tek Deep, Koo Ntakra, Nii Mayweda, Achaa, King Prinz, Gariba, Chymny Crane, Nana Nie, and Efo Shaker.
According to the artiste, who is currently managed by Trump Music Group, he was inspired by the hustle and pains he has been through. “There was a time that money to pay for studio was a problem until I got management team (Trump Music Group) to make my works professional. So looking at all of these, an Akan will say ‘mabrɛ na mɛnya’ so that’s the main reason why I named the album “Brenya”
He said it took him three years to write and record the songs on the album, which has songs like ‘Brenya’; ‘Jah Guide’; ‘Obaa’; ‘Mayor’; ‘Sokoo’; ‘Dagrafa Dagrafa’; and a skit produced by Fimfim) produced by various producers.
Others are ‘Julie’; ’Next Time’; Revolution; ‘Rasta Love’; ‘Recognize Remix’; ‘Amen’; and ‘One Day’.
The album is on all digital stores like ITunes, Spotify, YouTube, Soundcloud, Napstar, Amazon, and Deezer,
Phrame said, though all the songs are his favourites, he likes Brenya most because of its strong message about life and its quality production.
