Wife of the late Fennec Okyere remarries
Amaki, wife of the late Fennec Okyere, has found love again, after the brutal murder of her husband two years ago.
According to a Peacefmonline.com report, Amaki got married a few days ago at a wedding in Aburi with few friends and family. The new husband a young man who stays on the Spintex Road in Accra. He comes into the marriage with kids from his previous marriage while Amaki also has a son with the late Fennec Okyere.
Amaki and Fennec got married on January 21, 2012 and they remained legally married until Fennec was killed at his Manet Gardens residence on the Spintex Road in Accra on Thursday, March 13, 2014 by unknown assailants. He died at age 31.
After Fennec’s death, Amaki who had reportedly left her marital home several months before Fennec died, was accused of her husband’s death and for that reason Fennec’s family did not acknowledge her as the widow. Amaki did not participate in Fennec’s burial and she was not even allowed to say her final goodbye to her late husband.
