Several individuals have pleaded on Ghanaians to maintain peace in the impending December 7 polls which has proven that Ghana is indeed a peace loving country.
Over the weekend, FreeFm Ghana a radio station based in Techiman in the Brong Ahafo Region organized a peace oriented game activity to bring together the inhabitants of the city to promote peace.
The event which was held at the Ohene Ameyaw Sports Stadium in Techiman saw appearances of dignitaries like the Paramount Chief of Techiman Traditional Council; Nana Akumfi Ameyaw || including other sub chiefs and Queen mothers, MP’s for Techiman North and South constituencies, pastors and Imams who were present to educate the people on the need to vote peacefully come December.
The attendees which partook in the peace games were ; GN Bank,Uni Bank,Holy Family Hospital, Airtel, Vodafone, Tigo, Diamono Group of Companies, Divine Media college,Ghana Nut Limited, Allstar Keeptfit Club ,Joy keep Fit,and Gye Nyame Keep Fit Club.
The turn out was so massive and attendees hopefully enjoyed competitive games like soccer,tag of peace,ludo,oware ,table tennis and more. In the long run,Diamono Group of Companies took home the big price as the winner of the various games.
