The visit is a bid by Martini to foster Ghana-Nigeria relations as the company believes Nigeria’s Independence Day presents a unique opportunity to celebrate the friendship and healthy rivalry between the two countries. The brand is known for its support of celebrations of positivity and lifestyle and bringing Bryan Okwara to Ghana was an expression of that interest. The celebrity is a hit with Martini consumers and was well received.
Speaking to a selection of the media, the Martini Ambassador said he was excited to be in Ghana to engage with the general public. He said, “Although I’m the Nigerian ambassador for Martini, I am regularly plugged into Martini’s activities here and I always enjoy the opportunity to visit. Martini is looking to do more in the coming months to engage consumers, especially with Martini Rose. The Martini brand is known across the world for its iconic Italian lifestyle and we believe West African consumers identify with that.”
