Nana Ama McBrown lost her mum, Madam Betty Obiri Yeboah recently but kept it on the low.

The ‘one week commemoration’  ceremony took place on Thursday at Kwadaso in Kumasi with most of Nana Ama’s colleagues in attendance.  According to Zionfelix.net,  Madam Betty Obiri Yeboah is not McBrown’s biological mum, but her aunt. The actress however considers her late aunt as “ a real mother” because she provided her with a stable and caring home when growing up.

Nana Ama’s mother Cecilia Agyenim Boateng, and her father Kwabena Nkrumah, divorced when she was young. With her father gone and mother unable to take care of her and her six other siblings, Nana Ama together with her siblings were adopted by Kofi McBrown and her aunt, Madam Betty Obiri Yeboah who died a week ago.
