A Ghanaian based international Non-Governmental Organisation, Jaddia Foundation paid orphans of the Royal Seed Orphanage home in the Central Region of Ghana a visit few weeks ago to interact, check up and also donate some food items and more to them to enhance the standard of their livelihood.

The NGO whose motto is ‘Paving way for the less privileged’ looks to support and encourage less privileged in society specifically orphans to achieve their dreams by creating the needed opportunities for them.

With the golden aim of putting smiles on the faces of orphans, it believes the best way is to create a platform that will also give them equal opportunities for them to realize their dreams, be it academia or Arts. The Organization which is less than a year old has already set the ball rolling on the path to achieving this aim.

Speaking to the leader of the group, Belinda Nsiakoh; a young entrepreneur, she revealed that her  Late mother inspired this whole idea since it was her dream to support the less privilege in any little way she could. She also added that, this was the first of many visits to more orphanage homes and believes it’s important for donors to regularly visit orphanages to check up on them.

Most times people are so passionate about supporting the less privileged but sometimes they doubt if the huge donations actually reach the kids, since there have been cases where orphans do not benefit from the presents at all. So it has become important that we regularly visit and check up on them just as we do to our kids when we take them to boarding school “.

She also hinted of a upcoming project her team is working on in supporting and enhancing lives of orphans across the country.
