Speaking at the West Africa Road Show organised by Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) in Accra over the weekend, she noted that in terms of a destination which offers a one-stop solution for business and tourism travel, Dubai tops the list with its price friendly, tax friendly and people-friendly policies.
At the event, Dubai Tourism showcased its expanding portfolio of affordable luxury experiences across travel, accommodation, entertainment and events, with a focus on family travel, medical tourism and business.
The event offered an opportunity for local travel agencies and hospitality providers to network with Dubai Tourism and its Dubai-based partners including Emirates Airline, Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Dubai College of Tourism, as well as Hyatt Regency, Nikki Beach, Grand Hyatt, Dubai Parks and Resorts, North Tours LLC, Red Apple Travel Group, Prime Healthcare Group LLC and General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Dubai.
The partners took turns to showcase their different products and services, promising Ghanaians some juicy deals and discounts.
Dubai Tourism is the principal authority for the planning, supervision, development and marketing of tourism in Dubai. It also markets and promotes the emirate’s commerce sector, and are responsible for the licensing and classification of all tourism services, including hotels establishments, tour operators, travel agents, and all other tourism services.
