Kwaku Boateng Akuoko, owner of Brommon in a post after the event said the decision to move from Savile Row to Ghana has paid off.
“I decided to move back to my motherland Ghana three years ago after a fifteen years stint in London, to pursue a dream and a passion of mine in menswear. Brommon was conceived out of this idea and that was to bring forth the best quality Italian handmade suits for the man who has an acquired taste and loves to look different, appreciates quality, the craft and the process etc. And the journey has been the most challenging feat I’ve ever embarked on, from doors being shut in my face and dragging fabrics samples and suits in the back of rented cars and all sorts. Long story short, that dream has now become a reality with the launch of our showroom last Friday in Accra’s Cantonments , the first of its kind in Ghana and I believe we’ve raised the bar for high end bespoke garments and a force to reckoned with globally. It was a beautiful night with wonderful people who have been instrumental in turning this dream into a reality.”
