2017 starts on a high note for songstress Petrah of Manner Records as she received her first ever nomination at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Made known at a nominees launch party last Friday night by the organizers Charter House, Petrah was nominated in the ‘Best Female Vocalist’ category for her single ‘My Man’ produced by Timmi. The singer is competing against Adina, Becca, MzVee and Piesie Esther in that same category.
Petrah was introduced by Manner Records into the music scene somewhere in May last year (2016) with her first ever single (My Man). Then she went on to release songs like ‘Baby’ which featured Reekado Banks in July 2016 and Million featuring Medikal in February 2017. Barely a year in the music scene she already has two nominations to her name thus ‘Best Discovery Video’ at the 4syte Music Video Awards 2016 and ‘Best Female Vocalist’ at the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
