Pearl Thusi made her debut appearance on ABC’s series ‘Quantico’ which aired on Sunday.
The 28-year-old media personality was showered with so much love by South Africans and other nations as the first episode of the season two of Quantico aired.
Pearl even had her own hashtag #PearlThusiDay which trended all day, Monday.
Thusi took to Twitter to express her gratitude to her countrymen and the world for the love they showed her.
She tweeted:
When you’re hustling in New York . Alone. And your country shows you love. ?
One fan queried Thusi on Twitter as to why wasn’t more noise being made since her name came up in the opening credits of ‘Quantico’. Pearl humbly tweeted back:
If I’ve inspired one person with this then it’s all the noise I need.
Thusi is playing the role of Dayana Mampasi – a driven, disciplined, type-A lawyer. After graduating top of her class at Harvard, Dayana spent two years working at an NGO before joining her parents’ Boston firm. Though she seems to have it all, she struggles to fit in.
