A lot of people are pointing to Michelle Obama’s reaction as the best part of the whole debacle, and her puzzled smile slowly turning into a grimace of embarrassment is pretty great, but for me the highlight is watching Laura Bush silently beg him with her eyes to stop. Then again, it’s lowkey funny that Obama, two people away, seems basically cool with it. “That’s just W being W,” he seems to be saying. And George himself puts the cherry on top, wearing the pleased grin of a toddler who has just said a bad word in front of his daddy’s business friends.
