Following the flood which took over the streets of Lekki, VGC and the Island yesterday, a Nigerian OAP has shared the chilling story of how a toddler almost drowned..
The Nigerian OAP Temilola Akinmuda, took to her Twitter to tell a chilling story ..
According to the Cool 96.9 FM presenter:
“I just saw a baby drown in this flood right in front of me. The baby was miraculously revived, I don’t think I’ve ever been this scared in my life and this wasn’t even my child,”
The OAP said she called a Lagos emergency number, 112, to report to case but was turned down on condition that the number was only for ‘real’ emergencies.
“I had to call back,” “They still didn’t come till effort to resuscitate the baby became successful.”

My neighbors were filming while I was calling and shouting for help. How cold are we Nigerians! Is social media the beginning and the end

We can’t depend on emergency services in this country. The first chance I get i’m learning CPR.
