Is it too late to say a happy new month? It’s the 10th of March, so it’s still relatively okay to say that. Some may still have their largesse from payday, while others may not. It depends on how much you need to spend during the month, and trust us, we know how difficult it can be to still have some of your cash from payday. Whatever you do though, do not compromise on your DStv subscription! Not this month, not ever. Here are ten reasons why you should heed this advice.

DSTV

1. UEFA Champions League Round of 16: Do you really want to miss the goosebumps that you feel when the UCL anthem comes on when you tune in to SuperSport on a Tuesday or Wednesday? The round of 16 is set to separate the title pretenders from the contenders. We already saw what Porto did to Juventus in a keenly contested tie; now that’s something you do not want to miss out on because you failed to renew your subscription, not when you get upgraded through the Step-Up offer.

2. Harry and Meghan on M-Net: Did you miss out on the tea that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spilt? If you did, don’t worry, there will be a rebroadcast of the entire interview with the queen of television, Oprah Winfrey, on M-Net channel 101 this Saturday, the 13th of March 2021. Don’t let disconnection keep you from missing out on the tea!

3. Nigerian Idol Season 6 is Back!: It has been a long time since we last enjoyed this show on our screen but the show will return Sunday, March 14th on DStv 198. You get to see many talented young Nigerians who are ready to take the global music scene by storm. You don’t want to miss the first big step of the next Burna Boy, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Seyi Shay, Davido, etc.

4. BBN Lockdown Highlights: Since the first day of the month, BBNaija fans have been treated to the highlights of the famous lockdown edition of Big Brother Naija. From Laycon to Kiddwaya, Vee to Neo, watching these highlights bring back a not-so-distant memory of that show. It is worth checking out on Africa Magic Showcase, Urban or Family daily from 10 pm.

5. 63rd Grammy Awards: Will Burna bring home the coveted prize this year? We hope he does! Burna will also be performing alongside some of your favourite music stars on the 15th of March 2021. Don’t miss out on this fantastic award ceremony that airs live from 2 am on 1Magic (channel 119).

6. You Get Stepped Up!: This is the last month of DStv Step Up, and you need to take advantage of this promo because it only comes around once a year. With Step Up, you automatically get upgraded to the next package when you pay your subscription. So if you subscribe for Compact, you are upgraded to Compact Plus, and if you pay for Compact Plus, you are upgraded to Premium. Now that’s some huge value you shouldn’t miss out on.

7. Enjoy K-Drama on tvN Africa: Yes, we know you are a fan of Korean drama, and DStv recently added tvN Africa to its catalogue of channels. Whether you are a fan of crime movies or you are a hopeless romantic, tvN Africa is for you this March. Check out Channel 134 for all this goodness.

8. M-Net Movies Pretty Deadly Pop-Up Channel: This channel will feed your eyes with pretty ladies but be careful; these ladies are not only adorable, but they are adrenaline queens! Pop-up channel 111 is set to give you movies with pretty ladies who are also competent in the art of war.

9. Go Everywhere With Your DStv with the App: You really don’t have to be home to enjoy your DStv. With the app, you can enjoy content from anywhere you are. It doesn’t even matter if there is no power; as long as you have your mobile device, you are good to go, and yeah, you can avoid that battle for the remote by just using the app. DStv app is available on both iOS and Android devices.

10. Get Showmax at Half the Price or at No Cost at All: Premium customers enjoy a Showmax subscription at no extra cost as part of DStv Thanks reward programme whilst other customers get Showmax at half the price.

Now you’ve heard it all! You do not have any reason to be off DStv for this month or any other month, not with this amazing lineup!
