Nigerian Rapper, Folarin Falana also known as Falz The Bahd Guy has opened up on his journey to stardom, his half a decade-long music career and his controversial relationship with popular female disk Jockey, DJ Cuppy.
In a recent tell-all interview with NET TV, the talented rapper and comedian who is currently preparing for his first concert tagged ‘The Falz Experience’, also explained why he decided to hold a concert.
“It is one of a kind, I am combining all elements of entertainment to make it a mind-blowing experience”. Speaking on the inspiration behind it, he said; “the Falz Brand is not the regular brand, I am not a regular musician, I always try to make a statement with my music and my art”.
The rapper who stormed the industry with his comic alter ego, revealed that he hopes his style would get accepted by Nigerian youths. “People have always found my style quite intriguing and entertaining, so I knew it was just a matter of getting people to see the Falz brand”
He further cleared the air on a controversial video of himself and DJ Cuppy which caused a steer online. In the Picture, the rapper appeared to have a ‘crush’ on Cuppy and was all over her while they were at a party in Lagos.
“There is nothing going on between us. Yes, it looked like I was all over her in the video, but she is a very beautiful lady, she is a great friend of mine. I did not say that is all she can ever be in life o. But we both spend some quality time together every now and then”.
