The Hallelujah Challenge has come and would be gone in a day or two but like several other initiatives, this would not leave us without its good, bad and ugly.
The good which would be the several lives that were blessed, the numerous testimonies not also forgetting the positive effect of this on “The Nathaniel Bassey Brand”.
The bad which would be the few criticisms and the ugly which includes the clap backs, the insults, the shades, that many used either in support or against of their stand as regards the Hallelujah Challenge.
And because we claim to be people of faith, Nathaniel Bassey had advised us midway into the challenge not to respond or get into a fight with those who find themselves criticising the initiative for not just cause.
Today which marks the morning after the long-awaited, groundbreaking Hallelujah Festival, he dropped a subtle message on how to respond to the haters and persecutors.
He said: “Shalom Saints, pls desist from arguments online. Never fight people for disagreeing with what we believe. It’s normal. Respond with Love.
“When the world hates or persecutes us, it’s not unusual. We respond with Love. We don’t Hate. Hallelujah is a Life-style of praise and Love.”
