The Ashanti Regional town of Juaso will witness a festive mood when musicians throng the town next weekend for the final funeral rites for Madam Christiana Addo, mother of the President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA)BiceOseiKuffour aka Obour.
According to sources close to the MUSIGA President, the funeral is expected to be attended by state officials, captains of industry, musicians and other players in the Creative Arts. The source said there will be a musical concert in honor of the MUSIGA President’s late mother which will be graced by many prominent musicians in the countryin Juaso on Saturday October 23.
Artistes like KojoAntwi, AmakyeDede, Samini, Tagoe Sisters, Tic Tac, Edem, EL and many others are expected in Juaso on Saturday October 23.
Meanwhile the MUSIGA President Obour has expressed his appreciation to all who have supported him so far in his trying moments as he mourns his late mother.
The late Christiana Addo died in the United Kingdom after a short illness. She is survived by the MUSIGA President and three siblings.
