If anyone noticed carefully, Mr. Logic had a ‘difficult time’ on stage during his performance at Bass Awards 2016.
The authoritative Veteran Dancehall ‘Ragga’ voice DJ (Mr. Logic), however, managed to sail through his performance on stage with a heavy applause from the audience.
Mr. Logic, former Artiste Manager of Vybrant Faya, one of Ghana’s talented Dancehall artistes who passed away weeks ago says, he “had to do the stage act in memory of Vybrant Faya”.
He admitted on stage that, the death of his artiste is one of the biggest losses he’s finding difficult to overcome.
He performed one of his own highly revered songs “Dada” on stage with a carefully woven freestyle into the tribute song he composed for Vybrant Faya.
Vybrant Faya is one of the young Dancehall acts who shot up to mainstream recognition with his banger “Mampi” which became a national hit song. The song traveled as far as Jamaica and other Caribbean countries, through Europe, USA and other parts of Africa. Vybrant Faya met his untimely death in a motor accident where he got knocked down by a motorist riding on a bike, according to reports.
Mr. Logic is now Director of Productions for Shegah, female Ghanaian Dancehall singjay (who released a new song “Big It Up” barely a week ago).
