The crowd was hyped up and cheering and the contestants looked hot in their traditional, swim wear and evening wear. The crowd went wild every time the contestants came out but the cheering grew loudest when Mr. Edo, Mr. Katsina Mr. Imo, and Mr Rivers took the stage. The crowd came to a fever pitch when the TOP SEVEN CONTESTANTS – OYO, RIVERS,ADAMAWA, IMO, ONDO, CROSS RIVER , AND ABUJA– were called out onto the stage.
Proud supporters screamed for their contestants of choice but it was unanimously agreed that MR. IMO deserved the crown. He will represent Nigeria at the Mister Africa International 2017. Runner ups (Mr Ideal Nigeria – Earth) Mr Oyo’s Adams Abasiano will represent Nigeria at the Mr Earth pageant and Mr River’s Mario Owiriwa (Mr Ideal Nigeria – Universal) will represent Nigeria at the Mr Universal Ambassador in Indonesia. Cross River’s Emmanuel Ughelu and Mr Adamawa’s Darlington clinched the Mr Ideal Nigeria – Tourism and Mr Ideal Nigeria – United Nations title respectively.
