Miss Ghana 1991, Brigitte Dzogbenuku has been picked by the presidential candidate of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom as his running mate for the 2016 presidential elections. In the spirit of a previous post I made, “Over a decade later, see how these past Ghanaian beauty queens look now”, I bring you a throwback photo of when Brigitte was crowned Miss Ghana.
Brigitte Dzogbenuku is the founder and executive director of Mentoring Women Ghana (MWG). She also worked with Ashanti Goldfields Company Limited as the liaison officer on the Geita Project in Tanzania at the Dar-Es-Salaam office. She worked with SC Johnson Wax as brands manager. Before going to Tanzania, for two-and-a-half-years, she ran her own public relations and events management company – Protocol Ventures.
