The #MeToo and Time’s Up movements are giving a lot more women the confidence to speak up about their experiences with sexual assault and harassment.
While appearing on a new episode of talk show, The View, plus-size model, Ashley Graham shared her own experience in the hands of a photo assistant on the set of a big campaign when she was just 17.
She said, “He lured me into this hallway, pushed me into a closet. He exposed himself and he said, ‘Look what you did to me all day long. Now touch it.’ And I freaked out and ran out of the closet and just prayed that no one would find out.”
She said she was worried that if people found out, they were going to see her as the difficult model and may never want to work with her again.
