Mercy goes through her day with her assistant, specifically her AMVCA 2020 dress. Mercy goes to the kitchen to have a heart to heart talk with her sister, Promise. Mercy is quite upset because Eke went on a trip to London, courtesy a lady. She is pretty upset with Ike, whom she complains makes her look bad. She is upset by how the fans are accepting of Ike’s move and compares it to her situation, when she travelled and bashed and ridiculed online.
Promise tells her to be careful and wants her to end the relationship and does not want to be a part of the Ike conversation. She tells Mercy that she has her life to live and that she should be careful. Mercy decides that she will have to let the relationship go, she thinks the relationship is becoming toxic.
Ike meets up with Venita for advice, they had created a bond while they were in the Big Brother Naija house and he sees her as his big sister. He tells her about his trip to London, how he was paid to make appearances and potential business deals.
Ike says while he was happy to be in London and trying to have fun, he starts to get calls about Mercy. Ike is happy to have Venita who helps him straighten things up. Ike answers Venita’s question about what he wants, he said he would just see Mercy as someone he can do business with to make money, he doesn’t want anything else. He just wants to get everything that he can from this.
Venita and his friend thinks that he and Mercy will be back in a week but at this point he wants to make some money. Venita makes him realize that he isn’t the only one suffering from the drama in the relationship. He talks about how people call him regularly that he should leave Mercy that she might not be the one. And Venita tells him that if he loves Mercy, he will have to take a lot of bullets. He agrees and decides that maybe it is time to take the relationship to the next level.
