The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) hosted its first one-of-a-kind fashion runway show featuring nine brand new handpicked designers and the most breathtaking fashion moments at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos on Sunday, May 8, 2022.
The show hosted by Miz Vick featured collections from nine designers trained by Da Silva Ajayi of Lanre Da Silva Ajayi, Mai Atafo of ATAFO and Adebayo Oke-Lawal of Orange Culture.
The designers – Amy Aghomi, Azeezat Alawusa, Ezioghene Egbelefiyo, Felix Asuquo, Ikechukwu Nwosu, Obinna Omeruo, Omowunmi Pillot, Oseluese Okpamen – each did a beautiful job. They had beautiful pieces worthy of being called fashion statements.

The AMVCA’s lineup of events continues on Monday, May 9, 2022 with the Young Filmmakers’ Day with movie screenings and panel discussions by students of the MultiChoice Talent Factory.
IK Osakioduwa and Bonang Matheba will host the 8th edition of the AMVCAs awards ceremony on Saturday, May 14th, at the Eko Hotels and Suites to round up the events.
