Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly planning a royal tour of the United States, but before that, Meghan hopes to make a trip to the homeland as early as this summer.
“She’s planning a personal, unofficial trip this summer to see family and friends,” a source reportedly told Us Weekly. “She’ll go to New York, then L.A.
Although if you’re wondering why she might opt for New York and L.A., she was an actress so she probably has friends in both places, and her mother Doria Ragland lives in L.A.
But left off the list of destinations is Mexico, which is where her father lives. Which by now we all understand means even more drama from her father and the rest of her half siblings.
The couple already has a tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the Kingdom of Tonga booked for October, and then the tour of the United States will reportedly happen in the spring.
“They are thinking New York, Washington, D.C., and California,” another source told Us Weekly. “They’re working to finalize locations and venues. … The Canadian Foreign Office has heard about the tour and would love to have them stop there. This may very well become a North American tour.”
