Michael Otu Kuwornu
Tis the season to be jolly and what a better time to introduce you to one of Ghana’s finest mixologist, Michael Out Kuwornu, than Christmas?
Michael Otu Kuwornu, is known for his craft when it comes to mixing cocktails and creating drinks for all types of occasion. He holds a degree in Marketing from African University Collage of Communication (AUCC) and his passion for creating unique and fun experiences for customers with his mixes has even earned him the title of brand ambassador for Monin.
Monin is French gourmet flavorings company founded in 1912. The company offers premium syrups made with cane sugar and also has sugar-free products. Both types of syrup are used to flavor beverages such as coffee or tea and to create specialty cocktails.
According to Michael Out Kuwornu, his success has not been driven only by his passion but by constant training to learn new ideas through menu development. “My main objective is to train people on bartending ,giving solution to the beverage industry and training people on how to work well with any product through menu development. Through this of which I have traveled to Paris, Dubai and some parts of Europe for training and I have also trained most people here in Ghana and in Togo as well.”
