Actor turned pastor Majid Michel has cautioned Ghanaian youth against masturbation saying though it is not explicitly captured in the Bible, it is sinful.

Speaking in an interview on Starr FM’s Starr Chat on Wednesday, Majid as he is popularly called, revealed that he used to be a lover of masturbation when he was much younger.

“I think that every adolescent has masturbated before. I feel guilty about it, I feel very dirty about it…there’s a lot of debate about masturbation being a sin or not but I think it’s a sin.

“There is nothing said about it in the Bible, nowhere in the scripture…[but] it is a sin completely”, he told show host, Bola Ray.

He also warned the youth not to engage spend their time watching pornography since it had the tendency to corrupt their brains.

Majid Michel burst onto the scene in the early 2000s as Shaker, a notorious character in the popular “Things we do for love” television series alongside Adjetey Annan, known in the series as Pusher.

Majid has since that time risen to become one of Ghana’s star actors.
