Theo Kgosinkwe
Award-winning South African supergroup, Mafikizolo have shut down reports that group member Theo Kgosinkwe is dead.
Reports of his supposed death surfaced on a number of fake news sites recently, which went viral after shares by Facebook users.
The reports claimed that Theo had been found dead in his home, bleeding from his nose. It also suggested that the artist had been struggling with his health for some time.
Theo’s bandmate Nhlanhla Nciza responded angrily via Instagram, reassuring fans that the musician is fine.
“Whoever started this rumour shame on you. To our true fans/supporters Theo is fine, ” Nhlanhla wrote, next a picture of the article.
