Mad Fish returns with hot new single, ‘Flying High’

Imagine it’s 2004: Spacefone was the largest cellular phone provider; Hip-life music was blazing across the radio airwaves. One song in particular was very popular in those days: the song was called Yahooya. You remember that song? They played it at almost every party and nightclub across the country!

Well now, the artist behind this classic is BACK and better than before! “The Ghanaian music industry has really improved since I left and has gotten bigger than.

I could have ever imagined,” Mad Fish says. “I think the people are finally ready for the type of music I plan on bringing.”

Ever since his single Sexy was released back in 2009, Mad Fish (a.k.a. “Di Maddest”) has been living a quiet life in the United States away from the spotlight, spending time with his family and recording music with fellow dancehall artistes, such as Chico, Bucky Ital, and Dallas di Emperor.

He has also worked with a number of notable Jamaican producers, including Blacq Road Muziq, Youth Black Faith, Alpha Phi Muzik, and Jay-Crazie, who also produced his latest single, Flying High – a song that he plans on releasing later on this year.

The new single talks about how blessed he has been and that with God, nothing can stop him from taking his music to the next level. As for his fans, Mad Fish says he’s thankful for their undying support and promises to bring them plenty of good music as time goes on.

He also gave a quick shout out to his fellow industry mates: “I just want to thank all the DJs and media personnel for supporting Ghana music and helping it reach the heights it has achieved today. I also want to give a big shout out to all the dancehall artistes in Ghana that have worked so hard to make the genre as popular as it is now!”
