Germany-based Ghanaian musician, Matt Quacoe known by the stage name Wasabiano has dropped a patriotic new song ‘Mo Ngyae No (Leave Him)’.
According to Wasabiano, he released the single to let Ghanaians understand the essence of patriotism in the development of the nation.
‘Mo Ngyae No’ hits hard on leaders who gamble with national asset, and already many radio presenters in Ghana are tagging the song as a possible campaign song for the December general elections.
Wasabiano started his music career in 1979, whilst in Takoradi with the Black Scorpions. Some of his hits songs include Hustlers from his first album in 1991. Others include Mosquito Lover, and Wobenyi Abeto, among others.
He is a native of Wasa Adum Dominase in the Western Region. He completed his Middle School in the year 1976 and completed Takoradi Workers College in the year 1980. He worked at the Ghana Water and Sewage Corporation as a messenger before living for Nigerian in early 80s.
From 2002-2013, he had a fruitful life in Italy and currently he lives in Germany.
