In celebration of the upcoming release, Dae Dae treats us to a new track, “Dead Ass Wrong,” and a new video for fan favorite “Spend It” off his exceedingly successful debut mixtape 4 Reasons.
The DefAnition is a stellar collaboration between Dae Dae and his fellow Atlanta native, London on da Track, one of hip-hop’s most sought after producers. London has worked with Drake, T.I., Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan, just to name a few. “Lifestyle,” which he produced for Rich Gang in 2014 featuring Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan was a chart-topping cross-over smash, peaking at #4 Rap, #4 R&B, and #16 overall on the Billboard charts.
In 2016 Dae Dae has seen tremendous success with his first single, “Wat U Mean (Aye Aye Aye),” which peaked in the Top 10 at Urban Radio, garnered nearly 18 million Soundcloud streams and more than 23 million YouTube views for the companion video that portrays Dae Dae in his hometown of Atlanta’s Boulevard Fourth Ward. Dae Dae has performed the immensely popular song at the BET Hip Hop Awards, where he shared the stage with Lil Yachty and Big Baby D.R.A.M, as well as BET Experience’s 106 & Park special.
Dae Dae’s second single, “Spend It” has quickly become another hit record with fans and critics alike, progressively climbing the charts, currently in the Top 20s at Urban Radio, with over three million audio streams and over one million video views to date. In May, Dae Dae was tapped to open Young Thug’s Hy!£UN35 tour alongside Lil Yachty, Rich The Kid and more.
