Lil Wayne Says Birdman Is Not Family

It looks like the rift between Lil Wayne and Cash Money CEO Birdman will not be getting mended anytime soon.

During a recent interview with HipHollywood, Wayne was asked about how his relationship with the man he’s called father for the better part of his 20 year career would turn out, his response didn’t sound at all hopeful.

“I’m 34 baby, I’m too old for friends,” he bluntly responds. “His last name isn’t Carter, baby. He’s not family,” Wayne adds.

Lil Wayne is currently traveling around the United States promoting his new book Gone ‘Til November, which is a hand-written diary that documents his time locked up in prison on Rikers Island.
