According to reports, the beat was initially created for OJ Blaq way back as 2014 when Omaga was working with OJ Blaq but the beat was not used by OJ black. The engineer confirmed he passed on the beat to Pappy of Five5 fame when he wasn’t hearing from OJ blaq again and felt his work was being wasted.
‘I sold the beat to Larry Prince in 2016 after not hearing from Pappy again (after giving out the beat to him). The last time I heard from Pappy was when he asked for the direction to my current studio.’ According to sources, Luther got the beat from OJ blaq to feature him on it.
OPM, the management team of Larry Prince is now threatening to sue Omaga after he refused to refund the cost of the beat.
According to OPM, “we have no problem with Luther’s management team.” We tried to find out ourselves from Omaga himself his part of the story but he declined to talk to us.”
Oj Blaq confirm his part of the issue by saying he never gave the right of the beat to Luther or his management and has even forgotten about the beat since the recording didn’t come on. According to him, he was too busy to voice over the beat and when he was ready to record on the beat, he had lost contact with Omaga and therefore decided to forget all about it. He is therefore surprised to be hearing about Luther using the beat and he feels it is very wrong on the part of Luther.
