Kweku Darlington’s Onipa creates a nostalgic feeling bringing memories of jazzy Ghanaian tunes once dominating the highlife scene of yesterday.
Today, Onipa brings back fond memories of good times and timeless music. And this is what Kweku Darling has to say to TV3 on his campaign to resurrect Ghanaian hiplife.

“This is hiplife, and this is Kweku Darlington.”
Talking about Onipa, Kweku Darlington revealed that Fameye and Okyeame Kwame were carefully handpicked to add flavour to the song.
“First of all, we are like family already, but then, I feel they fit the song very well. So after three years, I realized that Fameye can give us a massive hook for this song. And then my senior brother Okyeame Kwame can do wonders on the song too.”
