Kwame A Plus launches “The People’s Project”, pledges financial support and training for individuals, SMEs

Renowned Ghanaian Musician cum Social Commentator and Activist, A Plus, has launched a new programme to support individual and small scale enterprises.

In a lengthy post A Plus sent across, he explained the initiative will give financial support for people with vocational and technical skills to help produce and market their products and services.

Below is a breakdown of the programme outline he calls “The People’s Project — For Us By Us” (UNEDITED).

Since I did a post on the woman who needed a start-up capital of GHC 150 for a sobolo business, I have been receiving so many requests for support. We will take our time to help as many of them as we can.

I’ve also received many pledges from people who want to provide start up capital for small businesses. For instance, if you are looking for say 200 Ghana to start a fruits business, there is someone who is ready to provide that amount.

We also have people who want to buy cars for Uber and motorcycles Aka (Okada) for deliveries on work and pay basis. To qualify for any support you have to be a member of The People’s Project. (TPP)

Some members of TPP are also willing to educate beneficiaries on marketing strategies to help them manage their businesses properly. We appreciate all the kind gestures you have decided to show towards these people with willing hearts. We will form a team to monitor the progress of their businesses, identify possible risk factors and give the necessary advice.
