Eugene Kwame Marfo, who goes by the stage name Kuami Eugene is a Ghanaian highlife and afrobeats singer-songwriter. He is signed to Lynx Entertainment, and is known for several songs of his, including “Angela”, “Wish Me Well”, “Ohemaa”, and many others.
The `Obiaato’ hitmaker revealed in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, monitored by Adomonline.com, that when he attaches emotions to a song, it receives much airplay and attention as compared to one’s without emotions attached.
He said ”Songs I attach emotions to have longer longevity than others; songs like Wish Me Well, Angela and Obia To. They last longer though I can’t always put myself into such state to make music. It should happen naturally,”
He further went ahead to say that he loves to compose songs when he is going through an emotional dilemma because it puts him in the “right” state to record.
